The Generations Program is a psychiatric inpatient program located at Saline Memorial. The hospital and the Generations Program professionals are dedicated in the goal of helping each patient achieve maximum quality of life. We effectively treat the unique needs encountered by older adults addressing both the medical and emotional needs of each patient. The staff works with the entire family to help them understand the mental health of the patient and how they can best support their loved ones. A Generations professional is available to provide a free confidential evaluation in home or at a facility. Physicians, health professionals and family members may refer patients directly to the program. The hospital services are covered by Medicare or often by major health insurance companies.
